A Boil Water Advisory remains in effect for the town of Salemburg.
Water service was restored Saturday evening after crews completed repairs. However, residents should continue following the advisory until it is lifted, according to a town Facebook post.

The town said water has been turned back on to all areas. Customers may notice discolored water or air in their water lines as crews flush hydrants.
The advisory was issued at 9 p.m. Friday due to a fluctuation in water pressure. Around the same time, town officials said some residents were without water, and crews were working to find the cause of the outage.
Residents should not drink tap water without boiling it first. Water should be brought to a rolling boil for at least one minute. The town said it is working to provide bottled water for those in need.
Boiled or bottled water should be used for:
- Drinking, including water given to pets
- Preparing food and beverages, including infant formula
- Making ice
- Brushing teeth
- Washing fruits and vegetables
- Washing dishes and food-contact surfaces
Bathing and showering are considered safe as long as water is not swallowed. Children should be supervised while bathing to ensure they do not swallow water.
Residents should also discard any ice made from tap water Friday afternoon or later.
