The Hoke County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a juvenile died and another juvenile was found injured inside a home. 

On Friday, deputies responded to a home in the 100 block of Scarlet Oak Drive for a report of cardiac arrest.

When deputies arrived, they found two juveniles, who were taken to a hospital for treatment. One of the juveniles died, while the other was treated and survived.

Detectives said there were no signs of foul play. Hoke County Child Protective Services is assisting with the investigation.
