US-1 North reopens in Raleigh after brief closure due to car wreck

A vehicle wreck on US-1 North Capital Boulevard caused lane closures Tuesday morning.

The closure affected the two left lanes near Gresham Lake Road in Raleigh. The lanes reopened just before 8 a.m.

SKY 5 flew over the scene which appeared to involve at least two vehicles. One vehicle was badly damaged and another was being towed away.

It is unclear what caused the wreck and if there were any injuries.
