The search for a missing swimmer in North Myrtle Beach is expected to resume Thursday morning after multiple agencies responded to two swimmers in distress Wednesday night.
WMBF reported that around 8:30 p.m., a distress call was sent out for two men, 18 and 21, who were swimming along the South Ocean Boulevard beach.

The North Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue said police and off-duty firefighters rescued the 18-year-old first but could not find the 21-year-old. The U.S. Coast Guard was called in to help as crews lost daylight.
The search stopped around 11:30 p.m. They expect to continue the search operation Thursday morning.
